Our 50/50 raffle, launched on the 22nd of October, ended on December 2, 2021. For the occasion, we organized a wiener roast with marshmallows that could be cooked over enclosed fire pits. The raffle tickets sale closed at 5:00 pm and the winner was randomly picked through the Rafflebox platform activated by Scott Clark, Vice-President of our Lions Club.

Through this process, Allan Giles from Vulcan was declared the lucky winner of the $3,925.00 prize.

The total gross sale was $7,850.00 and Allan won half of the sale amount. We consider this first trial to be a success and we may consider doing it again in the future.

Our sincere thanks is extended to all of you who supported our raffle by buying tickets. A very special thank you to those of you who also promoted our initiative; thereby increasing the proceeds for both the lucky recipient and our community through our club's share of the raffle.
