TO BECOME A LION

To become a Lion, you must be of legal majority, good moral character and good reputation in the community.  Membership is by invitation.  If you’re interested in being invited to join our Lions club, contact one of our members listed in the “members’ list” here.​

Mission Statement

To empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peach and promote international understanding through Lions clubs.

As a Lions Club Member

  • You’ll join a group of service-minded men who volunteer to support our community every day.  You’ll also become a member of Lions Clubs International – a respected international organization, a leader in our local community, and a friend to people in need.

  • Being involved in Lionism is like a journey.  People join Lions for many reasons.  Some because they may have been helped by Lions, some because of a family member or friend invited them, and some because it’s part of their very nature to volunteer.

  • Regardless of the initial calling, most members recognize early on in the journey the powerful self-worth one gets from becoming part of something bigger than yourself.  For m any the journey of Lions is a transformational life experience.  “People know the Lions name; they Trust it and it’s awesome to be a part of that legacy”.

​Reasons to join the Vulcan Lions Club

  • Join the largest service organization in the World:  as a member of the Vulcan Lions Club you are a member of Lions International.

  • The Vulcan Lions Club has 22 active members.

  • The Lions core mission is to serve in helping local Community groups and The Vulcan Lions Club is involved in many projects and fundraisers.  A list of who we helped can be seen on the About Us Page here.

  • By joining the Vulcan Lions Club, you can gain, valuable personal experience helping others, working with a team to accomplish goals, working on projects that benefit so may and so much more.

  • The Vulcan Lions Club is a service organization with people from all walks of life and in different times of their life.  We are NOT a business networking organization.
    When you have so many members, we are a very active club.  From service projects to fundraising projects, we as a group enjoy all that we do.  You can find lifelong friends and more in our Lions Organization

  • Whether you help on our HandI-bus program, fund raising activities, Elementary and High Schools Christmas lunch, Catering service for different organizations, volunteer at Casino fund raising, you will be rewarded in knowing that you are helping those in and around the Vulcan Community and beyond.
